ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $82.6906 million over the past 24 hours. Long liquidations accounted for $37.7242 million, while short liquidations totaled $44.9664 million. Based on the reported figures, short liquidations were higher than long liquidations during the period.
For Bitcoin, long positions saw $4.0104 million in liquidations, while Bitcoin short positions recorded $12.1604 million in liquidations. For Ethereum, long liquidations reached $6.7983 million, compared with $4.4885 million in short liquidations. These figures describe the liquidation distribution across the two major crypto assets during the latest 24-hour window.
Coinglass data also showed that 58,696 traders worldwide were liquidated over the same period. The largest single liquidation order took place on Bybit’s BTCUSDT trading pair, with a value of $2.0132 million. Liquidation data is commonly used to track the scale and direction of forced position closures in crypto derivatives markets.
