According to ChainCatcher, citing Coinglass data, total liquidations across the crypto market reached $123 million over the past 24 hours. Long liquidations totaled $39.6635 million, while short liquidations reached $83.2107 million. Based on the reported figures, short liquidations were higher than long liquidations during this 24-hour period.

Bitcoin and Ethereum liquidation figures

Among major crypto assets, Bitcoin long liquidations stood at $3.2499 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations reached $37.8482 million. For Ethereum, long liquidations totaled $3.1764 million, and short liquidations amounted to $10.2412 million. These figures reflect Coinglass’s latest 24-hour liquidation statistics for the derivatives market.

Coinglass also reported that 70,864 traders worldwide were liquidated during the same period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Bitget, on the BTCUSDT_UMCBL trading pair, with a value of $5.1119 million. Liquidation data is commonly used to track the scale of forced position closures and the distribution between long and short positions over a given time window.
