According to ChainCatcher, Coinglass data shows that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $458 million over the past 24 hours. Long positions accounted for $366 million of that total, while short positions accounted for $91.2115 million. Based on the reported figures, long liquidations made up the larger share during this 24-hour period.
By asset, Bitcoin-related long liquidations reached $120 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations stood at $17.236 million. For Ethereum, long liquidations totaled $84.5419 million, and short liquidations totaled $26.8009 million. Bitcoin and Ethereum were the main components highlighted in the liquidation breakdown provided by Coinglass.
The data also shows that 121,394 traders were liquidated globally during the most recent 24-hour window. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Aster - ETHUSDT, with a value of $10.4925 million. Liquidation data is commonly used to track the scale and directional distribution of forcibly closed positions in crypto derivatives markets.
