ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $331 million over the past 24 hours. Of that amount, long positions accounted for $177 million in liquidations, while short positions accounted for $154 million. The figures show that forced liquidations occurred on both sides of the leveraged trading market during the reporting period.
Bitcoin and Ethereum liquidation breakdown
For Bitcoin, long-position liquidations totaled $36.6512 million, while short-position liquidations reached $69.0029 million. For Ethereum, long liquidations stood at $38.8072 million, and short liquidations came in at $34.3987 million. Bitcoin and Ethereum were the main assets listed in the reported liquidation breakdown.
Coinglass data also showed that 102,404 traders globally were liquidated in the past 24 hours. The largest single liquidation order took place on Binance in the BTCUSDT market, with a value of $2.0983 million. The reported figures are based on Coinglass’s tracking of market-wide crypto derivatives liquidations.
