According to ChainCatcher, Coinglass data shows that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $173 million over the past 24 hours. Long positions accounted for $102 million of the total, while short positions accounted for $71.3171 million. The figures show that forced liquidations occurred on both sides of the derivatives market during the latest 24-hour period.
Bitcoin and Ethereum liquidation breakdown
By asset, Bitcoin long liquidations totaled $19.386 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations reached $28.0451 million. Ethereum long liquidations stood at $16.5589 million, and Ethereum short liquidations came in at $11.0436 million. Bitcoin and Ethereum were the key assets listed in the reported liquidation breakdown.
Coinglass also recorded 77,945 traders liquidated globally over the past 24 hours. The largest single liquidation order took place on Bybit’s BTCUSD market, with a value of $2.4157 million. All figures refer to the 24-hour market-wide liquidation data cited in the ChainCatcher report.
