According to ChainCatcher, Coinglass data shows that total crypto market liquidations reached $420 million over the past 24 hours. Long-position liquidations accounted for $242 million, while short-position liquidations totaled $178 million. Liquidation data tracks leveraged positions that are forcibly closed during market price movements, and the latest figures show sizable liquidations on both sides of the market.
By asset, Bitcoin-related long positions saw $58.5677 million in liquidations, while Bitcoin short positions recorded $19.6089 million in liquidations. For Ethereum, long-position liquidations reached $57.4381 million, while short-position liquidations stood at $59.0751 million. Ethereum liquidation amounts were close between long and short positions in this 24-hour period.
Coinglass also reported that 99,392 traders worldwide were liquidated during the latest 24-hour window. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance - ETHUSDT and was valued at $9.0893 million. The figures summarize crypto derivatives liquidation activity across the market during the reporting period.
