Long liquidations accounted for $75.9301 million, while short liquidations totaled $70.0565 million. Liquidation refers to the forced closing of leveraged positions when margin requirements are not met, and the data shows that both long and short positions were cleared in significant size during the period.
Bitcoin and Ethereum liquidation breakdown
By asset, Bitcoin long liquidations reached $16.2209 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations totaled $33.7458 million. Ethereum long liquidations stood at $12.3923 million, and Ethereum short liquidations came in at $9.1633 million. The figures reflect liquidation activity recorded by Coinglass over the latest 24-hour window.
In addition, 80,641 traders worldwide were liquidated during the same period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Bitget in the BTCUSDT_UMCBL contract, with a value of $5.1119 million.
