Against that backdrop, CoinUp said it remained focused on building a safer, more professional and more intelligent digital asset trading platform aimed at making it easier for users to enter Web3.

Trading infrastructure and platform metrics

CoinUp said it continued to improve its liquidity system, matching engine, market depth and risk controls in the first half of 2026, with the goal of lifting platform stability and execution quality.

According to the company, overall trading activity posted steady growth as products were refined and the global user base expanded. Spot trading volume rose about 150% from a year earlier, while futures trading volume increased about 120% year over year. CoinUp said liquidity and trading efficiency also improved during the period.

The platform now supports more than 700 spot trading pairs and over 100 futures products. Average daily trading volume remains at the level of several billion dollars, the company said, adding that it continues to attract new users from multiple countries and regions.

On safety and transparency, CoinUp said it backs the platform with $3 billion in reserve assets, Proof of Reserves, and multiple layers of security mechanisms intended to provide a more transparent and secure trading environment.

CoinUp also said it has remained in the global Top 30 among digital asset trading platforms for an extended period, citing growth in trading scale, product improvements and steady international expansion. Looking to the second half, the company said it plans to keep investing in product innovation, technical capabilities, liquidity construction and global operations, with the aim of moving toward the global Top 20.

Product rollouts in the first half

On the product front, CoinUp said it completed eight major app version upgrades in the first half of 2026 and introduced more than 20 product and feature updates covering trading experience, asset management, security systems and account management.

The company said it launched Copy Trading to make market participation simpler for more users, and also introduced Prediction Market. CoinUp said the product was tied to global headline events including the World Cup to create more interactive trading scenarios.

It also continued to push Simple Earn, Launchpad, Launchpool and IEO offerings. The company said these products are designed to give users more chances to participate in the early stages of selected projects.

CoinUp added that it officially rolled out US stock trading in the first half of the year, expanding the range of tradable assets on the platform. The company said this allows users to access both digital assets and global equities within a single venue.

During the same period, CoinUp launched U Card, which it described as a bridge between on-chain assets and real-world spending. The company framed the product with the phrase, "Earn on-chain, Spend in real life," and said it wants digital assets to be used beyond wallets and move into everyday consumption scenarios.

CP AI+ strategy

CoinUp said AI is not a short-term theme for the company but part of its long-range plan. This year, it formally launched the CP AI+ strategy.

The company described CP AI+ not as a standalone product, but as a long-term initiative running through the full platform ecosystem. Over time, AI is expected to be applied across market analysis, trading assistance, strategy generation, risk management and asset allocation, according to CoinUp.

It said those tools are meant to lower the learning curve and improve decision-making efficiency for both professional traders and users who are new to Web3.

Community building and foundation launch

As of June 2026, CoinUp said it had run more than 20 online campaigns and nine offline brand events, covering key markets including Hong Kong and Thailand.

Online efforts focused on topics such as the World Cup, Prediction Market, Launchpool and IEO. Offline, the company said it used brand programs including CoinUp Journey, Growth Hub and CP Talk to connect product experience, industry discussion and local communities.

CoinUp also said it officially established CoinUp Foundation in the first half of the year. The foundation will focus on education support, community welfare and broader Web3 adoption.

Second-half plans and brand upgrade

Looking ahead, CoinUp said it will keep investing in product innovation, AI strategy, global community development and user experience, while continuing to improve digital asset trading infrastructure and explore more real-world application scenarios.

The company also said a new chapter for the brand is beginning. As its brand upgrade plan moves forward, CoinUp said it will enter a new development stage with a more international brand image, a broader product ecosystem and a more open global strategy.

In the review, CoinUp described the past six months as a period of growth and said it expects to keep moving forward with users, partners and community members.
