Global crypto derivatives liquidations reached about $608 million over the past 24 hours, according to CoinGlass, with roughly 131,300 traders wiped out across the market. Long positions accounted for the vast majority of the losses at around $511 million, compared with about $96.69 million in short liquidations, putting the long-side share near 84%. By exchange, Binance recorded the largest liquidation total at about $236 million. Hyperliquid followed with roughly $181 million, giving it a share close to 30% of the market-wide total, while OKX posted about $52.85 million. The data showed that forced liquidations on those venues were mainly concentrated in long positions. The largest single liquidation was recorded on Hyperliquid in the XYZ:SKHX-USD contract, at about $24.61 million. CoinGlass data also showed that BTC and ETH remained the assets with the highest liquidation totals, pointing to sharply elevated risk in leveraged long positioning across the market.

Based on the market-wide total of $608 million, Hyperliquid accounted for close to 30%, trailing only Binance.

Largest single liquidation hit a Hyperliquid contract

The largest single liquidation took place on Hyperliquid in the XYZ:SKHX-USD contract, at about $24.61 million.

The data also showed that BTC and ETH remained the assets with the highest liquidation totals, with risk in leveraged long positioning currently rising sharply across the market.
