TechFlow reported on June 10, citing CoinGlass data, that total liquidations across the cryptocurrency market reached $366 million over the past 24 hours. Long positions accounted for $235 million of that figure, while short positions accounted for $131 million, making long liquidations the dominant side in the latest 24-hour period.
BTC and ETH Account for the Largest Liquidation Totals
By asset, BTC recorded $101 million in liquidations. Within that total, BTC long liquidations stood at $49.0901 million, while short liquidations reached $51.5001 million. The figures show that both sides of BTC positions saw sizable forced liquidations during the period, with short liquidations slightly exceeding long liquidations.
ETH saw $78.9743 million in liquidations over the same 24-hour window. ETH long liquidations totaled $47.9798 million, while short liquidations reached $30.9945 million. Compared with BTC, ETH’s liquidation breakdown was more heavily weighted toward long positions.
SOL Liquidations Exceed $11 Million as Binance Sees the Largest Single Order
SOL recorded $11.7037 million in liquidations during the past 24 hours. Of that amount, long liquidations were $7.1059 million and short liquidations were $4.5978 million, meaning SOL’s liquidation structure was also led by long positions.
CoinGlass data also showed that 109,404 traders were liquidated in the past 24 hours. The largest single liquidation occurred on Binance in the BTCUSDT trading pair, with a value of $2.0983 million.
