According to TechFlow on June 11, CoinGlass data showed that total liquidations across the cryptocurrency market reached $335 million over the past 24 hours. The breakdown showed $195 million in long liquidations and $139 million in short liquidations, indicating that both sides of leveraged positioning saw large-scale forced closures during the reporting window.

BTC and ETH Lead the Liquidation Figures

Among the assets listed in the CoinGlass data, BTC recorded $87.0469 million in liquidations. Of that amount, $33.1527 million came from long positions, while $53.8942 million came from short positions. In the BTC figures, short liquidations exceeded long liquidations, and BTC had the largest liquidation amount among the listed assets.

ETH recorded $61.1747 million in liquidations, including $36.0346 million from long positions and $25.1401 million from short positions. Unlike BTC, ETH saw a higher liquidation amount on the long side than on the short side. SOL recorded $9.1787 million in liquidations, with $5.1967 million from long positions and $3.9820 million from short positions, below the BTC and ETH totals reported in the same data set.

123,968 Traders Liquidated Within 24 Hours

CoinGlass also reported that 123,968 traders were liquidated over the past 24 hours. The largest single liquidation occurred on Binance in the XAGUSDT trading pair, with a value of $3.304 million. This was the biggest single liquidation disclosed for the 24-hour statistical period.

Liquidation data records forced closures of leveraged positions after they reach exchange risk-control thresholds. In this data set, the reported figures include the total market-wide liquidation amount, the split between long and short positions, and specific liquidation amounts for BTC, ETH and SOL, offering a direct view of position clearing activity in crypto derivatives over the past 24 hours.
