Cryptocurrency market sectors broadly moved lower over the past 24 hours, according to SoSoValue data, with the DeFi segment leading the declines at 9.16%. Within the sector, the previously record-breaking Hyperliquid (HYPE) pulled back 9.15%, while LAB (LAB) plunged 37.47%. However, DeXe (DEXE) bucked the trend with a 14.58% gain, standing out amid the sell-off.

GameFi and NFT Show Relative Resilience

Contrasting the overall weakness, GameFi and NFT segments demonstrated some defensive strength. GameFi recorded a 0.49% daily gain, with Audiera (BEAT) surging 20.27% to lead the sector. NFT rose 1.38%, as APENFT (NFT) edged up 0.15%.

Meanwhile, the two largest crypto assets diverged. Bitcoin (BTC) managed a modest 1.33% rebound, pushing back above the $63,000 mark. Ethereum (ETH), on the other hand, failed to follow suit and continued its decline, dropping 0.92% to slip below $1,800.

Broader Sector Declines and Thematic Index Pressure

Other sectors also faced headwinds: CeFi fell 1.37% for the day, with Cronos (CRO) barely positive at 0.12%; PayFi lost 1.55%, though Telcoin (TEL) surged 24.29%; Meme declined 2.01%, with Siren (SIREN) jumping 28.48% as a standout performer. Layer1 slipped 4.10%, while Humanity (H) held relatively firm with a 3.90% gain; Layer2 dropped 5.59%, but Starknet (STRK) spiked 3.48% intraday.

Thematic indices reflecting historical sector performance also came under pressure: ssiSocialFi fell 8.90%, ssiAI dropped 8.40%, and ssiDePIN declined 7.49%, signaling a broad cooling across related themes.
