According to data from Coinglass, the cryptocurrency market witnessed total liquidations of $325 million over the past 24 hours. Long position liquidations amounted to $209 million, while short positions saw $115 million in liquidations, indicating heavier losses for bullish traders.

Breaking down the figures, Bitcoin long liquidations were $36.19 million and Bitcoin short liquidations were $52.75 million. Ethereum long liquidations stood at $26.03 million, with Ethereum short liquidations at $24.99 million. The data shows that Bitcoin short liquidations exceeded longs, while Ethereum saw relatively balanced levels between both sides.

In addition, a total of 86,031 traders were liquidated globally in the past 24 hours. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Binance for the BTCUSDT trading pair, valued at $6.65 million.
