NFT Sector Leads Decline, Pudgy Penguins and Audiera Drop
According to SoSoValue data, the cryptocurrency market sectors are broadly declining. The NFT sector was the weakest, falling 3.79% in 24 hours. Within the sector, Pudgy Penguins (PENGU) dropped 2.96%, while Audiera (BEAT) fell 6.29%. Bitcoin (BTC) declined by 1.06%, breaking below $64,000. Ethereum (ETH) fell 1.34%, trading in a narrow range around $1,700.
SocialFi Sector Rises Against the Trend, Gram Leads
Amid the general downturn, the SocialFi sector was the only one to post gains, rising 1.23% in 24 hours. Gram (GRAM), rebranded from Toncoin (TON), rose 2.13%, standing out within the sector.
Other sectors: DeFi dropped 0.47% in 24 hours, but DeXe (DEXE) surged 59.33%. CeFi fell 0.94%, but OKB (OKB) rose 2.98% amid factors including a joint venture with Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), briefly breaking above $83. Layer1 declined 1.51%, with TRON (TRX) gaining 1.77% intraday. Layer2 fell 1.51%, while Celestia (TIA) bucked the trend with a 5.40% increase. Meme dropped 1.55%, yet BUILDon (B) rose 6.27%. PayFi fell 2.04%, but Telcoin (TEL) gained 8.06%.
Historical sector indices show further pressure: the ssiAI index fell 7.86%, ssiDePIN dropped 5.26%, and ssiRWA declined 2.97%.
