Major cryptocurrencies traded lower over the past 24 hours, with price screens across leading exchanges turning broadly red. Bitcoin fell 1.9% to $90,705.09, Ethereum lost 3.3% to $3,139.93, and XRP posted a steeper 5.0% decline to $2.14. The move pointed to softer risk appetite, as traders cut exposure across large-cap digital assets.
Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP Lead the Pullback
Bitcoin remained the largest cryptocurrency by market value, though its market capitalization slipped to $1.81 trillion. Its 24-hour trading volume reached $43.45 billion. Ethereum also moved lower, with daily volume at $21.67 billion and market capitalization falling to $378.94 billion, showing that selling pressure extended across smart contract tokens as well. XRP saw one of the sharpest drops among top assets. Its market capitalization declined to $130.17 billion, while $4.30 billion in trading volume suggested active short-term repositioning.
BNB, Solana, TRON, and Cardano Also Lose Ground
Other major tokens followed the same direction. BNB dropped 2.1% to $893.30, with $1.57 billion in daily trading volume and a market capitalization of $123.03 billion. Solana declined 1.4% to $136.45. Its trading volume stood at $4.31 billion, while market capitalization fell to $77.01 billion, reflecting a slowdown after earlier gains.
TRON slipped 1.0% to $0.2977, leaving its market capitalization at $28.17 billion. Dogecoin fell 1.4% to $0.1454, backed by $1.50 billion in trading volume. Cardano lost 2.8% to $0.3985, with daily volume of $624.39 million and market capitalization dropping to $14.63 billion.
Smaller Tokens Rally Against the Broader Decline
While large-cap assets retreated, several lower-ranked tokens posted strong gains. zkPass (ZKP) jumped 59.2% to $0.1849, supported by trading volume of $461.69 million, making it one of the session’s strongest performers. aelf (ELF) climbed 47.2% to $0.142, Gunz (GUN) rose 35.9% to $0.02144, and USCR added 31.0% to $0.0409.
The White Whale (WHITEWHALE) gained 23.3% to $0.1083, while PAAL AI (PAAL) also advanced 23.3% to $0.03. Xertra (STRAX) increased 19.7% to $0.02669, and AI Companions (AIC) rose 20.1% to $0.1567. Trading activity showed a clear split: large-cap assets weakened, but speculative interest continued to rotate into smaller tokens as volatility stayed elevated across the market.
