CryptoQuant head of research Julio Moreno said Bitcoin’s recent rise has pushed the market’s unrealized profit margin to 33%, the highest level since December 2024. At the same time, profit-taking in Bitcoin climbed to 25,700 BTC, marking the highest level seen in 2026. Moreno said the simultaneous rise in unrealized profit margin and profit-taking activity usually points to fading upside momentum in the current rally. In his view, the combination suggests the market is facing a higher risk of a pullback. The comments were cited by ChainCatcher in a short market update.

CryptoQuant head of research Julio Moreno said Bitcoin’s recent advance has lifted the market’s unrealized profit margin to 33%, the highest level since December 2024.

At the same time, Bitcoin profit-taking rose to 25,700 BTC, the highest level recorded in 2026.

Moreno said that when unrealized profit margin and profit-taking increase at the same time, it usually signals that the current rally is losing momentum and that the market faces pullback risk.
