On September 2, Curve DAO approved a proposal to fund yRisk, a new risk management provider, to oversee the risk parameters of the crvUSD stablecoin and the Llamalend lending protocol. This move follows the early termination of the previous provider, LlamaRisk. yRisk will receive 125,000 frxUSD as compensation. Notably, two of yRisk's developers were previously involved in a security vulnerability incident that led to a loss of $9.6 million. The news was reported by Techub News, citing WuBlockchain.

Curve DAO approved a proposal on September 2. Funding goes to yRisk, and yRisk will take over risk management for crvUSD and Llamalend. The old provider, LlamaRisk, had already ended its work with the DAO early. yRisk gets paid 125,000 frxUSD.

And there’s baggage. Two yRisk developers were previously tied to a security flaw that led to a $9.6 million loss. WuBlockchain disclosed it.
