Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) gave an interview in Dubai, responding to several hot industry topics. He criticized competitor attacks as 'childish' and confirmed that Elon Musk's $500 million investment in X platform is genuine. CZ revealed that Greece's refusal to issue a MiCA license is a 'lose-lose' situation, arguing the country missed an opportunity to participate in digital asset innovation.
Discussing US regulatory penalties and his prison experience, CZ reflected on his past aggressive strategy of 'asking for forgiveness rather than permission.' He acknowledged this approach brought negative consequences and said if given a second chance, he would have directly blocked US users to avoid regulatory risks. Nevertheless, he emphasized that cryptocurrency remains the future global payment infrastructure, and industry development is irreversible.
When asked about AI tools, CZ admitted his most used AI tool is the free version of Kimi. He pointed out that AI has significant potential to improve code security but must be applied cautiously to prevent misuse. He believes the combination of AI and crypto technology will bring new opportunities to the industry.
