Fresh allegations circulating on X have put Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, known as CZ, back under scrutiny. A woman identifying herself as Justin Sun’s former girlfriend claims Binance, Tron and paid crypto influencers operated as a coordinated network that moved the TRX market through organized trading activity and promotional amplification, then sold into retail demand.

Claims center on account coordination and TRX price inflation

The accuser, who calls herself Ten Ten, says she was involved with Justin Sun during what she described as the formative stage of the TRX business. According to her posts, teams allegedly opened multiple Binance accounts using employees’ identities and used synchronized buying and selling to artificially lift TRX prices before carrying out large-scale sales aimed at retail investors. She also alleges that Binance and Tron worked with extensive paid KOL networks to shape market behavior and facilitate insider-style trading.

The accusations were amplified by crypto commentator Leonidas, giving them wider visibility across the platform. Ten Ten says she preserved chat logs and internal records and intends to provide them to U.S. authorities. At this stage, the article presents those materials as claimed evidence, not as documents already accepted or verified by regulators.

New accusations land on top of prior U.S. enforcement history

The allegations arrive against an existing regulatory backdrop. In 2023, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission accused Justin Sun of fraud and market manipulation, including alleged wash trading and unregistered securities offerings. Binance and CZ also faced U.S. enforcement tied to compliance failures and weaknesses in trading surveillance, and Zhao entered a guilty plea in 2023 on anti-money-laundering-related charges.

That context gives the latest claims added weight. If Ten Ten’s account were to be corroborated, the issue would extend beyond one token’s trading pattern and point to possible structured cooperation between a major token issuer, a top exchange and a paid influencer network. The boundary between promotion and manipulation would come under sharper review.

Prices remain relatively steady as traders wait for evidence

So far, market reaction has been limited. TRX traded near $0.36, up about 2.6% over 24 hours. BNB changed hands around $855, gaining roughly 2.2% in the same period. Bitcoin was quoted near $123,470, up 3.3% on the day, while ether stood around $4,760, adding just over 3% in 24 hours.

For now, traders appear to be waiting for something more concrete before repricing risk around the accusations. Attention is now on whether Ten Ten will submit the materials she says she holds to the SEC, and whether those claims move from social media controversy into a formal regulatory process.
