DAC quantum blockchain flipped its testnet live on July 23. The official X account announced the Inception testnet is open: users can connect wallets, earn QE, collect badges, and climb a leaderboard before mainnet. This is not another Layer 1 chasing TPS numbers — it is betting on a future threat.
Quantum Threat Is Not Theoretical
NIST has warned quantum computing could eventually break current encryption. DAC positions itself as a quantum-proof Layer 1 built for RWA (real-world assets), AI, DeFi, and secure data validation. Mainnet is not out yet, but the testnet is already active.
The official X account describes the chain as an “advanced-resilient Layer 1 with two security layers from day one”: a new Proof of Work called PoQW (Proof of Quantum Work) and next-gen Entropy. Instead of only talking about TPS or low fees, DAC leans on a security-first pitch. Its profile also calls the project non-inflationary — a talking point for users comparing newer Layer 1 networks.
How the Testnet Works
The Inception dashboard is live. Users connect a wallet to claim an Early Badge, then earn QE through on-chain and off-chain activities. Referrals count too: 250 QE per referral, 25,000 QE for 100 referrals. The Early Badge claim window lasts seven days, with Standard and Premium tiers offering different QE multipliers. That creates a short-term reason to act fast.
The project uses a dual-token structure: DACT is an Ethereum-based token with a 1 billion supply; DACC is the native blockchain currency used for transactions and smart contract execution. DAC's GitHub profile adds that the chain targets real-world asset tokenization, low fees, and quantum-resistant security.
Core testnet actions are three: connect wallet and claim badge, complete tasks to earn QE, and push up the leaderboard. Whether these points and badges will convert to mainnet tokens is not yet clarified.
Mainnet Timing Still Unknown
The project teases that mainnet is “not far behind” but has not disclosed an exact launch date in the sources reviewed. Current excitement is entirely testnet-driven — not revenue-driven or adoption-proven. Next checkpoints include more public technical details on PoQW and next-gen Entropy, clearer mainnet timing and token utility, and signs of developer use beyond early badge farming.
