Bitcoin has climbed back above Strategy’s 2026 cost basis, according to analyst Darkfost, though the company’s purchases made since 2025 are still underwater. Darkfost said Strategy now holds 848,517 BTC at an overall average cost of about $75,446, while Bitcoin has risen above the firm’s 2026 cost line of $78,900. He added that if all purchases made since 2025 are counted together with sales made near this summer’s low, the blended cost for that period is still around $90,600, leaving the position at an unrealized loss at current prices. Darkfost also said Strategy has resumed buying after a pause of several weeks, but made no additional purchases last week. The company’s 1-year return stands at about 27.6%, and its 10-year return is about 60.3%.
