David Bailey, chief executive officer and chairman of Nakamoto Holdings, said in a discussion hosted by investment bank TD Cowen that artificial intelligence could become the next engine for Bitcoin adoption. His argument was not centered on Bitcoin as an asset, but on usability. Bailey said the main barrier for mainstream users over the past decade has been the interface layer, including wallets, addresses, private keys, and the broader onboarding process. In his view, AI-powered tools could abstract away that complexity and make Bitcoin easier to use for both individuals and institutions. TD Cowen analyst Lance Vitanza described the thesis in a related research note as speculative, but still worth watching. He said it shifts the adoption debate away from familiar topics such as monetary policy, regulation, and institutional fund flows. Bailey also argued that institutional adoption of Bitcoin is still in its early stages. He pointed to spot ETFs, corporate treasury strategies, and sovereign-level interest over the past year, saying the change seen in that period exceeds the combined progress of the prior decade. TD Cowen has a Buy rating on Nakamoto Holdings (NASDAQ: NAKA).

David Bailey, chief executive officer and chairman of Nakamoto Holdings, said in a discussion hosted by investment bank TD Cowen that artificial intelligence may become the next engine for Bitcoin adoption.

Bailey said the main obstacle to wider Bitcoin adoption has been the interface rather than the asset itself. Over the past decade, wallets, addresses, private keys, and the overall onboarding process have kept mainstream users at a distance. He said AI-driven tools could abstract that complexity and make Bitcoin easier to use for ordinary individuals and institutions.

In a related research note, TD Cowen analyst Lance Vitanza said the idea is speculative but worth attention. He said the thesis moves the Bitcoin adoption conversation away from traditional topics such as monetary policy, regulation, and institutional capital flows.

Bailey also said institutional adoption of Bitcoin is only just beginning. According to him, spot ETFs, corporate treasury plans, and sovereign-level interest have brought more change over the past year than the combined shift seen in the prior decade, while the accessible opportunity ahead remains much larger than what has already been captured.

Asked whether Bitcoin is reshaping traditional finance, Bailey said it is. He added that institutions, governments, and public companies are participating at scale, but Bitcoin’s underlying properties have not changed.

Nakamoto describes itself as an integrated Bitcoin platform spanning media, conferences, education, asset management, advisory, and treasury operations. TD Cowen has a Buy rating on Nakamoto Holdings (NASDAQ: NAKA).
