Crypto trading platform Deepcoin said it has signed a strategic partnership with the Argentine Football Association, becoming an official regional sponsor of the Argentina national football team through the 2026 FIFA World Cup cycle. The announcement frames the deal as a long-term branding and user engagement effort tied to both football and digital asset services.
Deal runs through the next World Cup cycle
According to the company, the sponsorship will cover the period leading up to the 2026 World Cup. AFA president Claudio Tapia said the association has been seeking partners that align with its international expansion plans and bring strength in technology and industry vision. He described Deepcoin’s technical capabilities and performance-focused approach as a fit with the competitive standards associated with Argentine football.
Deepcoin founder and CEO Ego Huang said the company views football as a sport built on precision and passion. He added that Argentina’s long-standing status at the top level of the sport made the partnership more than a standard sponsorship arrangement in the company’s view.
Deepcoin links the sponsorship to four business priorities
Alongside the partnership, Deepcoin outlined several areas it says are part of its current global buildout under the campaign theme “Beyond the Pitch.” Those priorities include global market expansion, trading ecosystem and liquidity upgrades, compliance framework development, and international customer service expansion.
The company said it wants to use the reach of top-tier football events to deepen its presence in emerging markets. It also pointed to technology iteration and system optimization aimed at execution efficiency and deeper liquidity support, while continuing to improve compliance and risk control mechanisms across multiple jurisdictions. A multilingual, around-the-clock support network is also part of the stated plan.
Fan campaigns and team-related promotions are planned
Deepcoin said future activities during the partnership period will be built around a “champion glory” theme. Based on the announcement, users and Argentina fans may gain access to promotional events, signed memorabilia, limited-edition merchandise, offline match-viewing activities, and opportunities connected to matches in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Company background included in the release says Deepcoin was founded in 2019 and has established operations centers in multiple countries and regions. The firm also said it runs its own crypto asset trading system, matching engine, and asset security infrastructure.
