The company had previously used a two-tier pricing model, with peak-hour rates set at twice the off-peak price and deepseek-v4-pro output reaching as high as RMB 27 per million tokens during peak hours.

DeepSeek had previously announced an API price adjustment based on peak and off-peak periods. Under that model, peak-hour pricing was twice the off-peak rate.
For deepseek-v4-pro, peak-hour output pricing for one million tokens reached as high as RMB 27. The peak windows were set at Beijing time 9:00-12:00 and 14:00-18:00, with the remaining hours treated as off-peak.
