Bitcoin hovered near $63,200 while the broader crypto market stayed mostly flat, yet a cluster of DeFi infrastructure tokens moved sharply higher. Bitway (BTW), Biconomy (BICO), EigenCloud (EIGEN), Hyperliquid (HYPE), and Uniswap (UNI) all posted notable gains, pointing to a rotation into infrastructure-focused altcoins.
BTW rallies on Binance perpetuals and reward incentives
BTW traded at $0.010, up 82.5% over 24 hours, with daily volume surpassing $67 million. The move followed Binance’s early June listing of BTWUSDT perpetual futures with 10x leverage. Bitway is also running Booster Season 3, a $100,000 BTW reward pool available through Binance Wallet until July 4. That combination of exchange access and active token incentives has helped draw fresh trading interest into the project, which is positioned as a Bitcoin-compatible Layer 1 for DeFi.
BICO spike tied to exchange-driven speculation
BICO changed hands in the $0.030 to $0.035 range on some exchanges and gained 76.5% in 24 hours on certain platforms. The trigger came from Scilex Holding, a Nasdaq-listed company, which said its Dream Bowl I meme coin could be listed on Biconomy Exchange as early as June 23. The announcement also lifted Scilex’s own stock price. Biconomy is known as a Web3 infrastructure protocol focused on smoother cross-chain transactions, but the day’s price action was centered on its exchange-related news. Trading volume reportedly surged by 717%.
EIGEN climbs as TVL adds $291 million in one week
EIGEN traded at $0.273, up about 24% on the day and 22% over the past week. The larger catalyst was on-chain growth: EigenCloud, the rebranded EigenLayer, saw total value locked rise by $291 million in one week to reach $4.67 billion. That points to fresh capital entering the restaking segment. The report also noted that analyst Michaël van de Poppe named EIGEN a core portfolio pick last week, describing it as resilient and a leader in restaking infrastructure. EigenCloud currently supports verifiable AI apps, cross-chain tools, and data services.
HYPE holds focus after all-time high and ETF inflows
HYPE traded at $69.99, up about 6% on the day. The context matters. It hit a record high of $76.90 on June 16, and the report said the token is now up 200% in 2026 alone. Spot HYPE ETFs recorded $172 million in inflows. On the trading side, SpaceX perpetual futures on Hyperliquid reached $1.4 billion in a single day, accounting for roughly 30% of the platforms total volume. Coinbase’s USDC integration also channels part of Treasury yield into automatic HYPE buybacks.
UNI posts seven straight gains as bank target and whale activity align
UNI traded at $3.03, rebounding from a year-to-date low of $2.30 reached only weeks ago, and extending its streak to seven consecutive up days. Standard Chartered set a $100 price target for UNI by 2030, after which on-chain data showed whale activity hitting a seven-month high. Product usage also featured in the move. Uniswap’s API now routes more than 50% of MetaMask swaps on Ethereum, and the protocol has added real stocks such as Tesla and Apple to its app.
The day’s strongest theme was clear: capital moved toward DeFi infrastructure rather than the broader market. BTW drew momentum from derivatives access and incentives, EIGEN from TVL growth, HYPE from ETF demand and buyback mechanics, and UNI from institutional price targeting plus on-chain accumulation. BICO stood apart, with its move tied more closely to event-driven speculation around exchange news.
