Trader degentrading shared a premarket checklist that spanned macro, equities, AI infrastructure and crypto, arguing that several cross-market signals are lining up at once. On the macro side, the 10-year Treasury yield rose to 5.2% and the 30-year yield climbed to 5.5%, levels he described as near historical highs. In Asia, South Korea’s stock market opened down 2.5%, while memory and semiconductor names including SK Hynix, Samsung, MU and SNDK were down 2% to 5%. He expects choppy price action to continue ahead of Micron’s earnings release. Degentrading also said payback periods for compute projects have fallen to less than one year, a shift he believes is changing market perception of the new cloud segment and putting more focus on power constraints. In large-cap tech, he pointed to weakness in META premarket, with attention on support near 690 or a break to fresh highs. In crypto, he said majors and altcoins were broadly weak, with BTC potentially retesting $82K support, while his strategy for the week is to look for short-term bullish setups during KBW.

According to ChainCatcher, trader degentrading (@degentradingLSD) said in a premarket note that several signals are showing up across macro markets, technology and crypto at the same time.

On the macro side, the 10-year Treasury yield rose to 5.2% and the 30-year yield climbed to 5.5%, close to historical highs. South Korea’s stock market opened down 2.5%, and memory and semiconductor names including SK Hynix, Samsung, MU and SNDK were broadly lower by 2% to 5%. He said price action is expected to remain choppy ahead of MU earnings.

On what he called the new cloud theme, degentrading said payback periods for compute projects have dropped to less than one year. In his view, that is shifting market perception and could lead to a rapid re-rating of the segment, while power bottlenecks are drawing increasing attention.

In tech stocks, he said META was weaker in premarket trading and pointed to two levels to watch: buying interest near 690 support, or a breakout above the stock’s all-time high. If the hyperscale data center group breaks higher as a whole, names such as META and Microsoft (MSFT) could see what he described as a paradigm-level repricing.

In crypto, he said both major tokens and altcoins were broadly weak, with BTC potentially falling to test support at $82K. He also said he reduced TAO and DOGE last week and took profit on CRDO to free up risk capital.

For this week, degentrading said crypto sentiment during KBW is usually positive, and his focus will be on finding short-term bullish opportunities.
