Speaking on Aug. 15, D’Amaro said Disney now has a direct relationship with consumers through its streaming operations and benefits from scale. He added that the company can integrate data at the technology level and communicate with consumers in a more unified way. D’Amaro also said Disney’s streaming platform is expected to deliver a smoother user experience, which he linked to stronger long-term fan value and better returns for shareholders. He said the company has already shown that it can execute in streaming and argued that significant opportunity remains if Disney continues to do that well.
