Doppler Finance has entered a partnership with Hex Trust to bring wXRP into its XRPL-native rewards infrastructure and launch custody-backed XRP-linked products. The plan is built around two pieces: regulated custody and multi-chain deployment. Together, they are meant to move XRP liquidity beyond the XRP Ledger and into broader blockchain environments designed for institutional participation.
wXRP added to XRPL-native rewards vaults
Doppler said Wrapped XRP will be integrated into its rewards infrastructure on XRPL, with vault structures designed specifically for institutional users. The company said those vaults will prioritize custody integrity and transparent deployment standards. That is the central product design. The setup is focused on reward-oriented structures that fit institutional operating requirements, allowing participants to access XRP-linked rewards inside clearly defined frameworks.
The product strategy reaches beyond the native XRP Ledger
The partnership also covers XRP-based products outside the native XRPL environment. Those products will use wrapped asset structures that operate across multiple blockchain networks. In practical terms, the initiative is aimed at connecting XRPL-native infrastructure with cross-chain liquidity frameworks, giving XRP exposure a route into a wider set of decentralized finance venues.
Beyond the vault integration, the companies outlined a broader liquidity plan spanning several blockchain ecosystems. Doppler’s yield infrastructure is set to align with Hex Trust’s custody platform, using wrapped XRP structures to support scalable liquidity deployment. The emphasis is on distribution and access, not a single-chain setup.
Executives highlight custody standards and institutional structure
Rox, Head of Institutions at Doppler Finance, said the initiative moves XRP beyond a one-network model and that Wrapped XRP will support liquidity distribution across multiple blockchain ecosystems. He also said institutional-grade custody sits at the center of the framework, with custody-backed infrastructure supporting structured deployment for institutional clients.
Hex Trust will provide regulated custody and infrastructure support for the XRP-linked products created under the partnership. The company said all structures will operate under regulated custody standards. Giorgia Pellizzari, Chief Product Officer and Head of Custody at Hex Trust, said the XRP ecosystem needs more structured utility development and added that regulated custody can support institutional engagement with wrapped XRP assets.
Broader link between XRPL and DeFi markets
The two companies said the collaboration is meant to connect the XRP Ledger with wider DeFi environments. The report also noted that CoinGape recently said XRPL activated a permissioned decentralized exchange upgrade aimed at institutional DeFi adoption. Within this partnership, the main building blocks identified by the firms are rewards infrastructure, regulated custody, and scalable liquidity.
Doppler Finance develops yield infrastructure on the XRP Ledger, while Hex Trust provides regulated custody, staking, and market services to institutional clients. The firms said they plan to structure wXRP products for cross-chain access under regulated custody frameworks.
