An Ethereum wallet tracked by on-chain analyst Ai Yi has moved closer to break-even after holding a large ETH position for roughly four months. According to the monitoring data, the address withdrew 4,819 ETH on Feb. 8 at a price of $1,941.25 per token, for a total value of about $9.35 million. The transaction marked the wallet’s first activity since it had been dormant for two years as of March 2024. About half an hour ago, the address deposited 1,200 ETH to Gate. If that portion is sold, the realized loss would be around $20,000. During the holding period, the account’s unrealized loss had at one point widened to $1.8 million. The latest transfer suggests the position is now close to recovering its initial cost, based on the figures cited by the analyst.
