The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is set to support the tokenization of Microsoft (MSFT) shares, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY), the Invesco QQQ Trust tracking the Nasdaq-100 (QQQ), and U.S. Treasuries for Wall Street institutions, according to BlockBeats. Nearly 40 financial institutions and technology companies are involved in the effort, including JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, BlackRock, Vanguard and the New York Stock Exchange. Earlier on July 15, DTCC launched its first limited live test for tokenized real-world assets. The formal service is expected to go live in October.
