TechFlow reported on June 17 that EarnOS, a digital advertising startup, has completed a $6 million Pre-A funding round. The round was led by 1kx, with Coinbase Ventures, Circle Ventures and Social Graph Ventures participating. At the same time, the company said its application ero has moved out of the testing phase and has begun launching in the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Funding led by 1kx
The newly announced Pre-A round totals $6 million. EarnOS named 1kx as the lead investor, while Coinbase Ventures, Circle Ventures and Social Graph Ventures joined as participating investors. The company’s announcement places the financing alongside its work in digital advertising, particularly around validating traffic, identifying real user activity and supporting reward distribution.
ero moves from testing to live rollout
Alongside the financing update, EarnOS also disclosed progress for ero. The app has completed its testing stage and is now going live across four markets: the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. According to EarnOS, ero is designed to help brands verify authentic user traffic and reduce advertising waste caused by bots and AI-generated content.
The company also said ero rewards “real digital behavior.” In the context described by EarnOS, that function is tied to verification, user onboarding and the delivery of rewards. EarnOS added that it has secured a four-year, $12.5 million non-dilutive strategic investment from Verona, formerly XION, to support ero’s global operations in those areas.
Taken together, the $6 million Pre-A financing and the four-year strategic investment from Verona form the funding updates disclosed by EarnOS in this announcement. The company linked these resources to ero’s rollout, traffic verification, user access and reward distribution as the app begins operating beyond its testing phase.
