Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS) said its total holdings stood at approximately $337 million as of 5:00 p.m. ET on May 20, 2026. The company’s treasury update listed an indirect $90 million investment in OpenAI through SPVs, an $18 million funded investment in Beast Industries, a $1 million investment in Mythical Games, 283,452,700 WLD, 11,068 ETH, and about $133 million in cash and stablecoins.

OpenAI and WLD account for a large share of the treasury

According to the company, OpenAI-related exposure represents about 27% of treasury assets, while WLD makes up roughly 21% and Beast Industries about 5%. Eightco said its OpenAI position is held through special purpose vehicles tied to equity interests in OpenAI’s parent company. It also said its 283 million WLD represent about 8.31% of circulating supply, which it described as the largest publicly disclosed institutional position globally.

Company frames the portfolio around AI, digital identity and creator businesses

Eightco said its treasury strategy is built around three themes: artificial intelligence, digital identity, and the creator economy. On Worldcoin, the company described WLD as the native token of World, a Proof of Human network built by Tools for Humanity and stewarded by the World Foundation. The network uses Orb devices to issue a World ID designed to verify that a user is a unique human rather than a bot or AI agent. Eightco also cited Fundstrat-compiled data showing high estimated shares of non-human activity across several internet domains, including 75% of Polymarket trading volume, 53% of web traffic, 47% of email, 44% of U.S. equity buy-side execution, 35% of new website creation, and 30% of online product reviews.

Recent OpenAI and Beast developments were highlighted in the update

The company used several recent events to explain its portfolio positioning. OpenAI launched Deployment Company on May 11, then launched ChatGPT Personal Finance for U.S. Pro users on May 15. On May 20, media reports said OpenAI was allegedly preparing to file for an IPO in the coming weeks. Eightco also pointed to a May 19 California jury decision that rejected Elon Musk’s claims against OpenAI. Beast Industries, led by Jimmy Donaldson, made its first public presentation to advertisers on May 12 and guided for $1.6 billion in 2026 revenue, up from $899 million in 2025.

Tom Lee commented on OpenAI and Beast

Board member Thomas “Tom” Lee said OpenAI Deployment Company creates Palantir-like forward deployment capabilities and gives OpenAI a large enterprise differentiator against rivals. On Beast Industries, Lee said the attention around the company’s presentation reflected the fact that MrBeast is among a small number of multi-billion-dollar companies able to guide to more than 75% revenue growth in 2026.

Eightco also said Kevin O’Donnell is the company’s chief executive officer. Its board includes Tom Lee, while Brett Winton serves as an advisor to the board. The release stated that many of the company’s comments about AI adoption, digital identity, OpenAI’s reported IPO preparations, World usage, and Beast Industries’ operating outlook are forward-looking statements.
