Eightco Holdings said its treasury stood at approximately $374 million as of 4:00 p.m. ET on May 27, 2026. The Nasdaq-listed company said its holdings included an indirect $90 million position in OpenAI through SPVs, an $18 million funded investment in Beast Industries, a $1 million investment in Mythical Games, 283,452,700 WLD, 11,068 ETH, and roughly $144 million in cash and stablecoins.
OpenAI and WLD make up the largest disclosed positions
According to the company, its treasury is built around three themes: artificial intelligence, digital identity, and the creator economy. Eightco said OpenAI accounts for about 24% of treasury assets, WLD for about 26%, and Beast Industries for about 5%. It also said its holding of more than 283 million WLD represents about 8.3% of circulating supply, which it described as the largest publicly disclosed institutional position in the token.
The release tied that WLD position to rising concern over machine-generated activity online. Citing data compiled by Fundstrat, Eightco said estimated non-human activity now accounts for 75% of Polymarket trading volume, 53% of web traffic, 47% of emails sent, 44% of U.S. equity buy-side execution, 35% of new website creation, and 30% of online product reviews.
Company points to recent OpenAI developments
Eightco highlighted several recent events linked to its investment case. On May 20, OpenAI announced that one of its internal general-purpose reasoning models autonomously disproved a central conjecture in discrete geometry originally posed by Paul Erdős in 1946. Board member Thomas “Tom” Lee said the result showed “outstanding reasoning abilities” and supported Eightco’s view of keeping OpenAI at roughly 24% of the balance sheet.
The company also cited OpenAI’s May 15 launch of ChatGPT Personal Finance for Pro users in the U.S., a product OpenAI said can connect bank, brokerage, and credit accounts across more than 12,000 institutions. Eightco added that several media outlets reported on May 20 that OpenAI was allegedly preparing to file for an IPO in coming weeks, though that point was included in the release’s forward-looking statement section.
Beast Industries stake and ETH holdings round out the treasury
On the creator economy side, Eightco said it has invested $18 million in Beast Industries. The company said Beast Industries, led by Jimmy Donaldson, has a combined cross-platform following of more than 500 million. It also noted that Beast Industries made its first public presentation to advertisers on May 12 and guided for $1.6 billion in 2026 revenue, up from $899 million in 2025.
Eightco’s reported holdings also include 11,068 ETH. In the same release, the company said its treasury is meant to capture what it sees as critical parts of the future AI and digital financial system, while also warning that digital asset volatility, regulation, capital constraints, and Nasdaq listing compliance could affect actual results.
