Bitcoin mining pool and crypto finance platform EMCD said on July 27 that it has rolled out a Miner Support Program offering up to $30 million for eligible miners. The package includes financing, fee reductions, and discounts tied to hardware and infrastructure partnerships. The announcement comes as Bitcoin miners continue to face sharp profitability pressure after the halving. CoinShares Q1 2026 data showed hashprice had fallen to about $28 per PH per day, down 50% from its October 2025 peak and marking a post-halving low. Hashrate Index data also showed roughly 252 EH/s had left the market as weaker economics forced many older machines offline. EMCD said its program includes collateralized liquidity at a 3.9% annualized rate for miners under cash pressure, a 60-day mining pool fee waiver, Vnish firmware discounts for older or less efficient rigs, and procurement and data center support for capacity expansion and hashrate migration through partner networks. Founded in 2017, EMCD said it operates a Bitcoin mining pool across more than 120 markets, manages over 30 EH/s of hashrate, and ranks among the world’s top 10 Bitcoin mining pools.

Bitcoin mining pool and crypto finance platform EMCD announced on July 27 that it has launched a Miner Support Program that will provide up to $30 million in support for eligible miners, including financing, fee reductions, and discounts through hardware and infrastructure partnerships.

The program arrives as the Bitcoin mining sector faces severe profitability pressure after the halving. According to CoinShares Q1 2026 data, Bitcoin hashprice has fallen to about $28 per PH per day, down 50% from its October 2025 peak and marking a post-halving low.

Data from Hashrate Index showed that about 252 EH/s of hashrate has exited the market as falling profitability pushed a large number of older mining machines offline because of high operating costs. At the same time, mining difficulty has recorded three consecutive negative adjustments for the first time since July 2022, a sign that the industry is going through a large-scale shakeout.

Program terms focus on funding and operating costs

EMCD said the support package is designed around miners’ day-to-day operating needs. For miners facing funding pressure, the company will offer collateralized liquidity support at a 3.9% annualized rate to help cover operating expenses.

On the cost side, EMCD is also offering a 60-day waiver on mining pool fees to reduce mining expenses.

Hardware, expansion and migration support included

Beyond financing, EMCD said it will provide Vnish firmware discounts for miners using older or less efficient machines. Through its partner network, it will also support equipment procurement and data center services for miners looking to expand capacity or migrate hashrate.

EMCD footprint

Founded in 2017, EMCD said it currently operates a Bitcoin mining pool serving more than 120 markets, manages over 30 EH/s of hashrate, and ranks among the world’s top 10 Bitcoin mining pools.
