In the app flow, users booking through the Emirates App are redirected to the Crypto.com App to authorize payment. On desktop, customers can choose Crypto.com Pay at checkout and complete the transaction by scanning a QR code. Crypto.com’s Dubai entity serves as the payments infrastructure provider for the service. Emirates said that entity holds a Stored Value Facilities license from the Central Bank of the UAE and operates within the relevant framework. For now, the feature is limited to eligible UAE residents. Emirates has not announced a timeline or rollout plan for international customers, foreign-currency payments, or markets outside the UAE.
