Enjin has announced Essence of the Elements, a year-long Multiverse campaign designed to bring players across multiple games into a shared progression and rewards system. Built around the four elemental seasons of Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth, the initiative centers on Enjin’s long-standing pitch of true player ownership, where in-game items can move between titles, gain utility over time, and continue evolving beyond a single game environment.
Shared progression across multiple titles
Through Enjin’s Multiverse Dashboard, players can connect their gaming wallet and access a cross-game system that tracks progress across participating titles. By completing quests and challenges in different games, users earn Essence, which helps unlock new items and expands a growing set of Multiverse collectibles. According to the announcement, each seasonal chapter adds new ways for items to develop greater utility while opening access to additional rewards across varied gameplay settings.
Enjin also detailed the incentive structure for the campaign. The company said each season will allocate 50,000 ENJ across NFT-based rewards, extending the prize pool model used in previous Multiverse chapters. At the end of every season, eligible players will be entered into a draw for a new seasonal Multiverse item. In addition, each chapter will include an exclusive element-themed Degen NFT tied to a staking pool capacity of 1 million.
First-season game lineup goes live
Rene Stefancic, COO of Enjin, said the campaign is meant to demonstrate what becomes possible when players truly own their items rather than merely access them inside a closed game economy. In his view, progress made in one world should be able to create value and opportunity in another, while players remain in control of what they earn.
The campaign is being positioned as free-to-play and open to a broad audience, from Web3 newcomers to more experienced blockchain gamers. The first season includes ENJ Excavators, Etherscape, Into the Multiverse, Lost Relics, and The Six Dragons, with additional games potentially joining future chapters.
Enjin said it aims to keep refining the cross-game experience over time while maintaining a fair-play and sustainable structure. The Essence of the Elements chapter is already live on multiverse.nft.io. The company added that its broader NFT ecosystem has been used across blockchain gaming, apps, enterprise programs, and marketing campaigns, with more than 1 billion Enjin-powered blockchain assets created to date.
