Within this group of exchanges, Bybit has the highest ETH 8-hour funding rate, followed by Gate. OKX has the lowest figure, while Binance is close to, but slightly below, the network-wide 8-hour average of 0.0024%. Bybit and Gate are both above the reported average.
Funding rates are used in perpetual futures markets for periodic fee settlement between long and short positions. This update only covers the current ETH network-wide average and the quoted rates for Binance, OKX, Bybit and Gate, with the data attributed to Coinglass.
