Ethereum and XRP led the latest move higher across major cryptocurrencies, with ETH rising 2.4% to about $2,320 and XRP gaining 2.7% to roughly $1.52. Bitcoin advanced at a slower pace, up 0.4% to around $74,200, a sign that traders were directing more capital toward altcoins in search of faster short-term price action.

Performance across large-cap tokens was mixed. BNB slipped 0.9% to about $674, while Solana added 0.5% to trade near $94. TRON edged down 0.1%, Dogecoin fell 1.9% to around $0.1002, and WhiteBIT Coin posted a modest 0.5% gain. The split suggests the market was not moving in one direction across all majors, with attention shifting between sectors.

Smaller tokens post the strongest daily jumps

The biggest moves came from mid- and low-cap assets. Peaq (PEAQ) surged 52.0%, leading the gainers in the session. Centrifuge (CFG) climbed 46.7% with more than $215 million in trading volume. Dego Finance (DEGO) rose 39.4%, Animecoin (ANIME) gained 38.5%, Unitas (UP) advanced 26.6%, and Clearpool (CPOOL) moved up 20.2%.

The rally spread across a broader list of smaller tokens. MemeCore (M) added 18.2%, while Grass (GRASS) rose 17.6%. A concentration of double-digit gains in this segment points to a more aggressive rotation, with traders focusing on assets that can deliver larger percentage swings within a short window.

High trading volume supports the shift

Liquidity remained strong in the largest names. Bitcoin recorded trading volume above $58 billion, while Ethereum crossed $35 billion. XRP and Solana also held solid liquidity, helping support their upward moves. That combination matters: major tokens are keeping broad market participation intact, while altcoins are generating the sharper upside.

The session showed a clear split in market leadership. Ethereum and XRP set the pace among large caps, but the strongest percentage gains came from the wider altcoin market. Price action and volume both point to an active rotation across the crypto sector.
