Ethereum Economic Zone (EEZ) core contributor Eduardo Antuña said in a post on X that Ethereum mainnet has successfully carried out its first atomic cross-chain transaction from Layer 1 to Layer 2. According to Antuña, the transaction shows that atomic synchronous composability has now gone live on mainnet rather than remaining a theoretical concept. He added that the milestone is only the starting point for EEZ’s effort to advance synchronized cross-layer interactions and unified liquidity across Ethereum. The statement was shared by ChainCatcher in a market analysis brief.

Ethereum Economic Zone (EEZ) core contributor Eduardo Antuña said in a post on X that Ethereum mainnet has successfully executed its first atomic cross-chain transaction from Layer 1 to Layer 2.
