Ethereum L2 Cuts Fees; Foundation Addresses Concerns
At the CoinDesk Consensus conference in Toronto, Ethereum Foundation's Josh Stark and EY Global Blockchain Leader Paul Brody addressed skepticism surrounding Ethereum's leadership and development trajectory. They highlighted that despite ETH's price decline and some developer migration to competing networks, Ethereum's innovation and scaling capabilities remain strong, particularly as Layer 2 solutions have pushed transaction fees below one US cent. Both expressed confidence that the market will ultimately recognize Ethereum's fundamental value. Meanwhile, the Ethereum Foundation is undergoing a leadership restructuring to sharpen its strategic focus.
