Ethereum Leads Crypto Rally as Bitcoin Holds Above $73,000

Bitcoin stayed above $73,000 in the latest market upswing, while Ethereum led major-cap gains with a 7.3% rise. Smaller tokens such as Gravity posted much sharper daily advances.

Bitcoin (BTC) traded at $73,726.46, up 3.0% on the day, holding firmly above the $73,000 level as the broader crypto market moved higher. Daily trading volume topped $39.1 billion, while market capitalization stood near $1.47 trillion. Price action in BTC remained relatively steady even as other assets posted stronger percentage gains.

Ethereum (ETH) led the move among large-cap cryptocurrencies. ETH rose 7.3% to $2,264.35, supported by more than $24.3 billion in trading volume, lifting its market capitalization to about $273.29 billion. The session placed Ethereum ahead of other leading digital assets in terms of daily performance.

Large-cap tokens move higher with ETH at the front

BNB also advanced, gaining 3.2% to $681.23 with daily volume above $1.19 billion. Its market capitalization held near $92.94 billion. XRP extended its recovery as well, rising 4.3% to $1.48. Trading volume for XRP exceeded $2.67 billion, pushing its market value close to $90.38 billion.

Solana (SOL) joined the broader rise, climbing 5.5% to $93.36 on volume of more than $4.38 billion. Its market capitalization reached roughly $53.46 billion. Dogecoin (DOGE) followed the same direction in the meme coin segment, adding 5.7% to trade at $0.1015 with daily activity above $1.42 billion.

Smaller tokens outpace majors on percentage gains

While large-cap assets recorded solid advances, several smaller cryptocurrencies posted much sharper moves during the same session. Gravity by Galxe (G) was the strongest performer, surging 41.2% to $0.004811. The token generated nearly $79.6 million in trading volume.

Unitas (UP) climbed 29.2% to $0.08807 with volume above $84.57 million. Nockchain (NOCK) rose 28.9% to $0.01237, though its trading volume was much lower at around $543,722. Derive (DRV) added 23.9% to reach $0.1019, while Renzo (REZ) gained 22.1% to $0.004002 with trading volume approaching $99.84 million.

Other tokens on the gainers list also moved sharply. BUILDon (B) rose 18.1% to $0.2146, Comedian (BAN) added 15.7% to $0.1382, and Degen (DEGEN) climbed 15.3% to $0.0008814 with more than $8 million in daily trading volume. The session showed a market rise led by Ethereum among majors, while smaller altcoins dominated the top percentage gainers table.
