Ethereum is trading close to a $1,550 support zone, and analysts are now focused on $1,540, $1,255, and $1,200 as the most important nearby levels. Weekly chart commentary places ETH near the lower edge of a long-term ascending channel, shifting attention away from minor short-term swings and toward whether buyers step in with enough strength at lower support.

$1,540 Seen as the First Level That Must Hold

A weekly chart shared by Celal Küçüker suggests Ethereum may retest $1,500 before any stronger recovery develops, with the $1,200 area also still in view. In that framework, $1,540 stands out as the first critical threshold for keeping a recovery scenario intact. If that level fails, the chart points to $1,255 as the next major support.

Küçüker’s roadmap outlines a step-by-step rebound path with interim levels at $2,300, $1,955, $2,900, $3,600, $2,880, $4,300, and $5,000. The broader upside target extends above $6,000, with the upper boundary of the channel marked at $6,043. A clear break below $1,200 would weaken that larger structure.

Daily Chart Keeps Focus on the $1,400 to $1,550 Demand Zone

Cryptic Trades reached a similar conclusion on the daily chart, highlighting the $1,400 to $1,550 corridor as a key area. The analyst said this range overlaps with prior lows seen in April 2025. Even if ETH slips below immediate support, the asset would still be trading inside a broader demand zone. Short-term volatility remains possible. That alone, in this view, does not confirm a deeper breakdown.

According to Cryptic Trades, the recent pullback came after untested lows and has formed a structure often associated with larger players building spot positions while retail selling pressure is still present. The analysis also says that a move below $1,000 is not currently the base-case scenario.

Buyer Reaction Inside the Band May Set the Next Direction

A common market view is that the $1,400 to $1,550 range will shape Ethereum’s short- and mid-term direction. A strong response from buyers inside this band could support a fresh recovery phase. If price breaks decisively below it, expectations for a bullish reversal would weaken. For now, traders are watching $1,540 as the immediate defense line, with $1,255 and $1,200 serving as the next deeper levels to monitor.
