Cryptocurrency markets showed mixed momentum on Thursday, with Ethereum edging closer to the $2,000 level while Bitcoin remained steady above $67,000. A wave of smaller altcoins posted sharp double-digit gains, lifting overall trading volumes.

Ethereum Targets $2,000, Bitcoin Holds Ground

According to Coingecko, Bitcoin traded at $67,497.54, up 0.5% over 24 hours, with daily volume reaching $41.98 billion and market cap near $1.35 trillion. Ethereum rose 2.9% to $1,999.80, drawing traders' attention to the psychologically important $2,000 resistance zone.

BNB added 1.4% to $626.73, with a market cap above $85.5 billion. XRP edged up 0.2% to $1.35, while Solana gained 1.8% to $83.94. TRON climbed 0.8% to $0.2886. Among meme coins, Dogecoin rose 2.1% to $0.09106 on $1.13 billion volume. Cardano increased 2.2% to $0.2566, and Bitcoin Cash inched up 0.2% to $448.76.

Small-Cap Tokens Rally Hard, Bitway Jumps 76%

While large caps posted modest moves, several smaller tokens stole the spotlight. Bitway led all gainers, surging 76.1% to $0.026 on over $144 million in volume. Resolv climbed 36.2% to $0.1099, with $80 million traded. Naoris Protocol advanced 27.5% to $0.04104.

Babylon gained 23.5% to $0.01442, supported by $72.98 million in volume. DeXe rose 19.9% to $4.45, Sahara AI added 20.8% to $0.02646, and Huma Finance gained 19.1% to $0.01826. Overall, major cryptocurrencies held steady while emerging tokens delivered strong rallies, expanding trading activity across both large and small digital assets.
