The Ethereum Foundation has released a policy guide, for the first time systematically articulating Ethereum’s value as a neutral, decentralized, and highly resilient digital public infrastructure. The guide is specifically aimed at government and institutional users, highlighting Ethereum’s irreplaceable advantages in key areas such as digital identity, land registries, and public records.
The guide emphasizes Ethereum’s zero-downtime track record, $76 billion in staked security, globally distributed validator network, and multi-client architecture. These features collectively underpin its trusted neutrality, making Ethereum the most needed digital infrastructure for governments and institutions.
