Data from SoSoValue reveals that Ethereum spot ETFs saw total net outflows of $90.1481 million on June 2 (Eastern Time), continuing a 16-day streak of net redemptions. The prolonged outflow period is one of the longest since these products launched, highlighting a consistent withdrawal trend among holders.
The largest single-day outflow came from BlackRock's spot Ethereum ETF (ticker ETHA), which recorded $44.2681 million in net withdrawals. Despite this retreat, ETHA's cumulative net inflows since inception still stand at an impressive $11.356 billion, underscoring the scale of earlier institutional demand. Grayscale's Ethereum Mini Trust ETF (ETH) followed with $25.4062 million in net outflows; its total historical net inflows are now $1.876 billion.
Key Fund Outflow Breakdown
BlackRock's ETHA accounted for nearly half of the day's total outflows, cementing its role as the primary exit point. As the crypto ETF vehicle from the world's largest asset manager, its flows are often read as a signal of institutional positioning adjustments. Grayscale's mini trust added further pressure, and together the two products made up roughly $69.67 million, or the vast majority of the daily outflow figure.
Asset Value and Market Share Snapshot
By press time, total net assets across Ethereum spot ETFs stood at $10.530 billion, representing a 4.58% share of Ethereum's total market capitalization. The historical cumulative net inflows—valued at $11.240 billion—remained robust even after 16 straight days of outflows, suggesting that the early-stage capital base remains largely intact.
The current outflow streak, now at 16 trading sessions, has pulled assets under management away from recent highs, but with net asset values still above the $10 billion mark and market share percentages holding steady, the fund structure itself hasn't undergone a fundamental shift.
