Ethereum (ETH) has held the $2,300 support level during a recent pullback, prompting fresh discussion on long-term price targets. Crypto analyst Crypto Patel, using the ETH/USDT biweekly chart on Binance, noted that ETH has maintained an upward trajectory over an extended period. The current accumulation zone centers between $1,700 and $2,250, while previous resistance ranged from $3,500 to $4,800.
Long-Term Support and Price Targets
Since 2022, Ethereum has repeatedly tested these lower regions, which have acted as significant support throughout the bear market. The first major resistance sits at $2,480, with a broader resistance band extending from $3,500 to $4,900. This upper zone includes Ethereum's all-time high of $4,876, a level that has yet to be decisively broken.
According to the long-term ascending channel starting from the 2018 lows and possibly extending to 2030, the first notable price target is $15,385, with an ultimate target of $60,000. Analysts stress that ETH must first maintain its accumulation range, reclaim the $2,480 threshold, and break above the $3,500 to $4,900 zone before any strong rally can be confirmed. The chart notes that a decisive breakout from the long-term support area has not yet occurred; confirmation would come if the price flips its former peak zone into new support.
Rally Signals and Historical Price Patterns
James Easton shared a three-day chart revealing a recurring pattern: deep declines followed by prolonged recovery phases, often leading to strong rallies. White dots mark each major long-term low, typically appearing after sharp pullbacks and preceding notable price increases.
The latest white dot appears around 2026, hinting at an attempt to establish a new bottom. Blue segments indicate past periods where Ethereum rebounded after major drops and eventually gained momentum for powerful rallies. Historically, each rebound started with price recovery to higher levels, but momentum later slowed.
Analysts caution that no clear signal points to an imminent new rally. ETH needs to set higher lows and surpass immediate resistance before the next upward phase can officially begin. Currently, Ethereum appears to be entering a potential recovery stage. If historical patterns repeat and resistance barriers are cleared, the recent downturn could set the stage for a major market rally.
