ETHTaipei 2026, Taiwan’s annual Ethereum developer conference, will take place on Sept. 13-14 at POPOP Taipei in Nangang, Taipei. The event is entering its fourth edition and will use a two-day format for the first time, with Sept. 13 set as Cryptonative Day for Ethereum developers and technical communities, and Sept. 14 structured as Institution Day for banks and financial institutions.
According to the event announcement, this year’s program runs from core protocol research and on-chain finance to custody, real-world assets, or RWA, and institutional-grade applications.
Martinet from the ETHTaipei organizing team said, 「Crypto technology and the real world are converging, and what makes that possible is the research and engineering behind it. That is the core of ETHTaipei 2026.」
First wave of international speakers announced
The first group of speakers and participating teams includes Polymarket, Uniswap, the Ethereum Foundation, ChainSafe, LINE NEXT, CertiK, OneSavie Labs, Quantstamp, Across Protocol and PIF12. Organizers said the list spans protocol research, DeFi, security, cross-chain systems and consumer-facing applications. More speakers are expected to be announced later.
Agenda split between developer and institutional tracks
Cryptonative Day will cover protocol and core development, Layer 2 scaling, zero-knowledge proofs and privacy, wallets and account abstraction, DeFi, consumer and social applications, security, and developer tools.
Institution Day will focus on institutional wallets and custody, digital asset and smart contract security, stablecoin risk management, RWA and tokenized U.S. equities, AI Agent-driven Machine Finance, and chain selection for financial institutions. Corporate and institutional support
Organizers said ETHTaipei 2026 is backed by multiple companies and institutions. Gold sponsors include BSOS, a team focused on enterprise blockchain and supply chain finance, the Digital Asset Development Research Center, or DADRC, and decentralized prediction market Sigmarket. Silver sponsors include Taishin Shin Kong Financial Holding, smart contract audit firm Quantstamp, and KlickKlack.
The event will also connect Ethereum communities across Taiwan and Asia, university blockchain clubs and media partners on site.
