EVOLVE said it will hold a closed-door EVOLVE·space gathering in Hong Kong next Monday as one of the official side events of Consensus HK 2026. The event is built around a direct question: how traditional finance can move into DeFi and on-chain finance in practical terms. Participants are expected from traditional finance, legal and compliance circles, financial infrastructure firms, and the Web3 and RWA ecosystem.

The company described the format as a high-quality discussion without a stage-driven setup. Topics on the agenda include regulatory change, capital efficiency, on-chain liquidity, and the feasibility of tokenizing real-world assets. The guest list includes senior executives from financial institutions, representatives from listed companies, and legal and compliance professionals, putting the focus on market structure and implementation rather than price action.

Speakers span finance, law, and market infrastructure

A featured fireside chat will bring together three speakers approaching the TradFi-DeFi crossover from different angles. EVOLVE said one speaker is a veteran financial industry leader with a strong background in traditional finance and licenses from Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission in Types 1, 4, and 9, with experience in asset management and investment advisory.

The second speaker is the managing partner of an international law firm, with more than 20 years of cross-border legal practice focused on blockchain, fintech, and compliance framework design. The third comes from a Hong Kong-listed company that has moved into crypto on-ramp and off-ramp services in recent years, positioning itself as part of the infrastructure linking fiat systems and digital asset markets.

RWA numbers frame the discussion

EVOLVE’s announcement points to RWA as a segment showing relative resilience while the broader crypto market remains volatile. Citing RWA.xyz, it said tokenized RWA on-chain has now passed $21 billion in total value locked, with roughly $1 billion to $2 billion added since the start of the year.

Including stablecoins and commodities, the broader RWA market is estimated at $38 billion to $56 billion. The company also highlighted private credit as one of the fastest-growing segments, reflecting how institutional capital is entering on-chain allocation through structures viewed as more compliant and more predictable.

EVPC on Solana is in preparation

Alongside the event, EVOLVE said it is preparing its first product, EVPC, a Solana-based private credit RWA offering. The product is expected to launch soon and will focus on private credit assets within a compliance-oriented structure, combining on-chain transparency with institutional-style design.

EVOLVE describes itself as a strategic RWA tokenization ecosystem developed by institutional alliance leaders from Hong Kong and Thailand. Its stated focus is on high-growth economic corridors along the Belt and Road, starting in Southeast Asia, with tokenization plans covering green energy, real estate, private credit, and diversified fixed-income assets. The EVOLVE·space series, according to the company, is meant to create a private setting where decision-makers from finance and Web3 can discuss regulatory transition, product use cases, and market structure.
