On-chain analyst Yu Jin has detected a significant Ethereum transfer involving Wang Chun, co-founder of the prominent mining pool F2Pool. About 30 minutes ago, a wallet linked to Wang withdrew 9,719 ETH, worth approximately $16.16 million, from the Binance exchange.
Shortly after the withdrawal, the entire amount was moved into Spark, a decentralized finance (DeFi) lending protocol built within the MakerDAO ecosystem. Spark enables users to supply assets to earn interest or borrow against their holdings, functioning similarly to other money market platforms in crypto.
Wang Chun is a well-known figure in the mining industry, and large transfers from his addresses are often monitored by on-chain sleuths for potential insights into market behavior. The specific motive behind this deposit, however, was not disclosed.
