Shri Thanedar in Michigan’s 13th Congressional District and oppose challenger Donavan McKinney. The spending came in the two weeks before the Aug. 4 Democratic primary, which will determine the party’s candidate for the November election. Protect Progress PAC had also spent about $1 million to support Thanedar in 2024, when he won 54.9% of the Democratic primary vote and 68.6% in the November election. Fairshake and its affiliated groups have reported a $191 million war chest for key elections. Other crypto-linked PACs named in the filing include Fellowship, backed by Cantor Fitzgerald and Anchorage Digital, and the Blockchain Leadership Fund, backed by Anchorage and Chainlink Labs. Protect Progress PAC also spent more than $100,000 to support Rep. Greg Stanton in Arizona, while Defend American Jobs PAC spent more than $65,000 backing Republican candidate Amanda McKinney in Washington’s 4th District.

Fairshake and its affiliated groups reported that they hold $191 million in reserve to influence key elections.
